With over ten years of experience in textile industry, my practice sits at the intersection of art, craft, and market-driven design. My work spans apparel manufacturing, print- pattern design, craft-based textiles, carpets, rugs, and soft furnishings, with a strong focus on creating innovative, commercially relevant products rooted in material intelligence and cultural context.I have led and contributed to new product development, working closely with artisans and manufacturers to evolve traditional weaving techniques such as pit loom, handloom, punja, and jacquard weaving in response to client briefs and emerging market trends. This hands-on engagement with craft allows me to balance design intent with technical feasibility and scalability.Alongside product design, my artistic practice plays a key role in shaping my visual language. Through surface exploration, material experimentation, and conceptual research, my artwork informs colour stories, textures, and narrative-led collections, allowing each project to move beyond trend replication into thoughtful design storytelling.My expertise includes trend analysis, design visualization, material development, and technical specifications, enabling me to translate research and creative concepts into clear, client-aligned outcomes.
