Hi! I’m Shivam Yadav, an incoming B.Tech Computer Engineering student at Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology (2025–2029), passionate about using technology to solve real-world problems.I completed my schooling from St. Michael’s High School, Patna, scoring 95.33% in Class 10 and 85.2% in Class 12 (with PCM + IP + English). Throughout my school years, I maintained a deep interest in how things work, which gradually led me to the world of coding, web development, app development, and Data Structures & Algorithms.One of my early experiences with tech was developing a Library Database Management System as a school project. It introduced me to backend logic, data handling, and how technology can streamline tasks.Outside academics, I’ve enjoyed being part of school sports teams (football and basketball) and have volunteered in organizing school events like the annual day and sports day — experiences that helped me build communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.I also appeared for several national-level entrance exams and secured an All India Rank of 427 in IMU-CET 2025, a competitive exam for the Indian Maritime University. While I chose to follow the computer engineering path, the exam sharpened my problem-solving ability and pressure-handling skills.My short-term goals are to build strong technical foundations, explore projects, and secure internships by my 2nd year. In the long run, I aspire to become a software engineer, contribute to startups, and explore freelancing and content creation as I grow. I’m open to collaboration, learning, and networking in tech — let’s connect and grow together!
