Analysis of R&D expenses of QREs and Financial Modelling• Working with US project managers to prepare and estimate Research & Development tax credits based on the qualified employee expenses as per IRC 41(b).• Engaging in various phases of the Research & Development study process and providing the US project manager with high-quality deliverables before the deadline.• Gathering tax data information and data analyses of the tax forms such as 1065, 1120, and 1120-S to calculate the base amount for the calculation of the Research & Development tax credit.• Working on various excel functions to pull the qualified research expenses (W- 2, 1099s, supply expenses) data for calculating the US federal and state tax credit for the client.• Participated in client project calls and assisted the project manager to prepare the project qualification notes.• Writing up final reports detailing client qualifications and legal justification for tax credits • Understanding the project qualification notes and preparing memorandum for numerous projects for the client.• Accountable for collecting data of high quality and drafting a technical report based on the qualified services as per the IRC 41(b)2(B) to allow the clients to claim the tax credits.
