Cloud data solution designer and developer. Microsoft certified Azure Data Engineer and AWS certified Solutions Architect (Associate). Working on Data Analytics eco-system for the past 10 years. Have leveraged Azure PaaS services, Hadoop, Spark on cloud and on-premise to enable analytics on big data. Hands on experience on Azure and AWS clouds. Azure Data factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Lake, Sqoop, Hive, Oozie, HBase and Pig being the major technologies. Excellent communication skills and thorough with the onshore and offshore development model. Currently working on solving complex technical problems on the Enterprise data platform at CIBC Bank. Formerly worked with TD Bank and RBC to design and migrate legacy data processing systems to on premises Enterprise Hadoop platform. Worked as a principal engineer at Envestnet|Yodlee, which is a leading cloud-based platform driving digital financial innovation. Yodlee powers digital financial solutions for millions of users and over 850 financial institutions. This platform creates huge data and needs a Big data system to do analytics on top. Worked on re-designing and developing a new Big data platform for Yodlee and was one of the most exciting projects I have worked on. Prior to that I was a Java/J2EE developer working on huge complicated systems namely the Yodlee back-end Platform. Previously, I was working at iGATE Global Solutions, Bangalore as a Technical Lead. The most challenging project there being the migration of legacy systems at a major Bank in Canada to use SOAP web-services. I was in Toronto, Canada for an year to execute this project and had a great experience.
