About Shivam Dixit
Currently working as Sr. Design Engineer at Tata Technologies and helping Tata Motors create safer cars for India by designing solutions to enhance occupant protection. Worked as Structural engineer focusing on Aircraft structure analysis and composite material design at Okulo Aerospace. The main focus being on designing and analysing the different composite combinations along with geometry analysis. I was a part of Ottonomy IO as R&D intern designing and developing mechanical components for upcoming robots using 3d printing, topology optimisation and material science techniques. I completed my first year of the master’s program at KTH, Stockholm focusing on Turbomachinery Aeromechanics, CFD and Vibrations. Completed the second year at University of Liege focusing on Composites, FEM and Fracture Mechanics. I graduated as a Mechanical Engineer with an interest in Fluid Mechanics & Material Science and wanted to pursue my masters in this field. After graduating I joined Bosch for a short tenure, there I learned a lot as a graduate apprentice being a part of the production department and handling the day-to-day activities and challenges before going for higher education in the field of Aerospace. People close to me would call me dependable, goal-oriented, determined & self-motivated. I love learning new skills and improving myself as a person. I love discussions involving the beating hearts of all the speedy machines, land or air. My specific fields of interest include composite materials, metallurgy, aerodynamics, IC engines and chemistry with all its possibilities.
