Software Engineer (CMU MSE ’25) with 3+ years building large-scale, highly available backend systems in e-commerce, healthcare, and data platforms across AWS and Azure. I work mostly in Java/Spring Boot, Go, and Python, and I’m equally comfortable on the frontend with React/TypeScript when end-to-end delivery is needed. My work typically sits in the intersection of distributed systems, event-driven architecture, and cloud-native infrastructure services behind real users, high TPS, and strict SLAs. I’ve engineered configurable, multi-tenant, API-first services, integrated with payment and external platforms, and modernized legacy workloads to containers, CI/CD, and cloud observability (CloudWatch, metrics, runbooks). On the data side, I’ve worked with Kafka, Debezium CDC, Snowflake, and Kubernetes/Helm to build ingestion and analytics-ready pipelines, using Terraform/IaC to make environments reproducible. I care a lot about operability: alerts, diagnostics tooling, and reducing MTTR, so systems stay healthy under peak load. I like teams where engineers participate in design/product/architecture reviews, challenge assumptions, and ship iteratively. I’ve led small engineering groups through requirements, architecture, implementation, and handoff, and I enjoy mentoring peers, especially on performance, reliability, and service design.
