Working as a Software Engineer specializing in financial systems, I’ve contributed across multiple projects in the payments and digital banking domains, engineering scalable and secure backend solutions that power real-world financial operations.In one engagement, I worked on a high-scale e-commerce marketplace, building and maintaining distributed payment services that handled escrow account flows and integrations with third-party payment providers. These systems were designed for high reliability, performance, and financial integrity, ensuring safe peer-to-peer transactions and buyer protection flows. Leveraging Scala (Cats), gRPC, and Maven, I focused on designing type-safe, functional, and fault-tolerant microservices communicating seamlessly with Java Spring services across the platform.In another engagement with a major digital banking platform, I contributed to UPI-based payment systems and worked on implementing anti-fraud and risk-detection modules—using transaction analytics and pattern-based logic to identify and prevent suspicious activities in real time. I was also part of a major Spring version migration, optimizing service compatibility and improving the maintainability of production systems.Across projects, I’ve focused on system modernization, platform reliability, and security-first design, combining pragmatic engineering with modern development principles to deliver trustworthy and high-performing fintech solutions.
