An IT Service Executive is responsible for delivering technical support and services to end-users or clients in an organization. The role involves troubleshooting IT issues, maintaining systems, coordinating with technical teams, and ensuring smooth operation of IT services. A strong focus on customer satisfaction, technical knowledge, and timely response is essential. Key Responsibilities: 1. Technical Support & Troubleshooting: • Provide first-level support for software, hardware, network, and system issues. • Diagnose and resolve user-reported problems via phone, email, chat, or in person. • Escalate unresolved issues to higher-level support teams. System Maintenance & Monitoring: • Monitor system performance and perform basic maintenance tasks. • Ensure systems, printers, and other IT equipment are functioning properly. • Assist in updates, installations, and patch management. User & Client Support: • Onboard new users with account setup, system access, and basic training. • Provide guidance on using applications, digital tools, and security practices. • Maintain a high level of customer service and ensure user satisfaction. Service Management & Documentation: • Log and track service requests using ITSM tools (e.g, ServiceNow, Freshservice). • Prepare regular reports on issue resolution, service uptime, and feedback. • Document procedures, FAQs, and support materials for future reference. Coordination & Compliance: • Coordinate with vendors, system admins, and network teams for issue resolution. • Ensure IT policies, security protocols, and compliance standards are followed. • Assist during IT audits, backup management, and disaster recovery processes.🧠 Skills & Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science, or related field. • Good understanding of operating systems (Windows/Linux), networking, and office applications. • Familiarity with ticketing systems and remote support tools.
