Working in Turbine Control Functionality Development team on Power Island (earlier) and Grid Forming control project (now) in collaboration with Loads team and Converter control team 2. Integration of converter controller model with structural wind turbine model and turbine control model. Responsible for integration, validation and release of the model to the project team. Undertaking open loop and closed loop simulations 3. Analysis of Grid Forming Operator functionality in Simulink model of PLANC controller4. Logging field data from tests site via datalogger and subsequent signal processing and analysis of field data in time, statistical and frequency domain. Comparing control signals of interest for Grid Following control versus Grid Forming control5. Conducting one-one simulations to compare the efficacy of the upgraded simulation model with field data. Evaluation and investigation of simulation and field data in terms of affected wind turbine control functionalities like converter interface and grid support, resonance speed avoider, load reduction handles, Speed power control, speed pitch control, drive train oscillation monitor, etc.6. Simulations conducted: Fault ride through, Inertial Response, Phase step simulations, Droop control, white noise, Startup/Shutdown as well as various steady state simulations 7. Comparative analysis of RTDS-BHawC (Hardware in loop) simulations with SICSElec-BHawC (Software in loop) simulations 8. Tools used: MATLAB, Simulink, Git, Jira, C++, SQL9. Documentation and Reporting, Continuous alignment and regular communication with stakeholders10. Got Spot Award for work on IR task.11. Formulation of Generalized transfer function for getting disturbance power dynamics during frequency disturbance and Phase step events based on simulations and validation via field data
