ABOUT SHIVAM TIWARI

Hello there! I’m Shivam, a Product Designer with a passion for fixing bad design! You ever scroll through Netflix on and on and realize you\'re 10 rows down and still feel confused as to what to watch? Or, how about fighting with your printer on trying to get it to print a B&W document when you\'re only out of color ink? Yup, it’s frustrations like these that made me want to be a UX Designer (I know, I know, those inkjets are designed that way on purpose, tsk tsk…). Check out my portfolio! https://shivam-tiwari.webflow.io/ I come from a technical background, having collaborated and managed product development teams on both hardware and software engineering sides. Product development has always been a passion of mine, but from the technical side it was difficult to exercise a level of creativity that directly affected users and the way they experienced a product. UX Design for me was that perfect mixture of scientific, research-based analyses combined with creative design that addresses the goals of both, the users and the business. I now work to bridge that gap between the technical development and the product experience teams to deliver success to users and business stakeholders. Yes, it’s a balancing act, but quite an exciting one! Outside of UX, I love teaching and sharing my experiences. Otherwise, you can definitely find me running through my endless backlog of video games, or catching a nice refreshing hike out in the beautiful Rockies! Here are some of my personal UX projects that I\'ve worked on: 1. Full-sized hypothesis-to-research, and ideation-to-solution project improving our video game experience and our lifestyle around them, 2. Lean UX Google Ventures Design Sprint testing solutions to address recent unfavorable app reviews on a food app\'s recipe delivery experience, 3. 90-Hour planned and executed project focusing on converting an existing desktop-based subscription services management app to a mobile-friendly one targeting to double its user base and expand into other regional markets.
