ABOUT SHIVAKUMAR KETHAVATH
I am a 4th-year Undergraduate Student in the Department of Mining Engineering at IIT Kharagpur, pursuing a Dual Degree program. I am originally from Hyderabad, Telangana.I have completed industrial training at Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL), working at the RK-6 and KK-5 coal mines during May-June 2023. Additionally, I gained hands-on experience at Hindustan Copper Limited\'s copper mine in Khetrinagar, Rajasthan, during May-June 2024.Currently, I serve as the Department Representative of Mining Engineering at IIT Kharagpur, where I have organized industrial training sessions and managed the fresher’s party for new students. I am also honored to hold the position of General Secretary at the Technology Mining Engineering Society, IIT Kharagpur.In addition to my academic and leadership roles, I am passionate about sports. I won a silver medal in Powerlifting competition at the national sports and games competition, SHAURY, hosted by IIT Kharagpur. Furthermore, I have successfully completed two years of NCC B Certificate training and NCC annual training at IIT Kharagpur.
