Brush transformers manufactures power transformers from ratings 5MVA upto 120MVA rating.Based in Loughborough,United Kingdom- Design of power transformers as per IEC, DNO’s,IDNO’s & other customers specification up to 120 MVA 220 kV Voltage class- Acting as a competent Technical Authority in the department & responsible for specifications relating to Transformers related to all DNO’s, CT\'s and VT\'s as well as being the point of reference for the policy and procedures relating to the installation, operation, inspection and maintenance of equipment’s- Development of new optimized designs in line with growth plans & process within the organization - Lead smooth roll-out of equipment changes and manage new equipment introduction to minimize the impact to business. Liaise with training schools and project teams to trial new equipment and provide constant support when needed- Preparation, checking and review of technical documents, bill of material, winding specification and design support to manufacturing- Actively working on continuous improvement of transformer design and optimization- Preparing advance ordering material specification and uploading the required documents & drawings in Sovelia & PDM system - Participate & organize in engineering & production reviews in order to produce error free designs & reliable products, reduce the cost of non-Quality and improve the overall efficiency of the unit-Strong working knowledge of the specifications and operation of transformers, voltage transformers and current transformers used on the Distribution and Transmission Networks including good knowledge of statutory, regulatory,safety and environmental legislation-Ensuring that all designs and applied technology are compliant with relevant technical, safety environment standards & code of practices-Mentor Junior Engineers and apprentices, acting as a point of contact when required.t
