ABOUT SHIVA KHOEI
I am a self-motivated and hardworking environmental and civil engineer experienced in water treatment, wastewater treatment, dam and building construction, soil mechanical analysis, laboratory research and report writing. I have a bachelor\'s degree in Geotechnical engineering, worked in a dam building company for two years as a soil expert and have over two years of experience as a construction supervisor and team leader. I graduated from Istanbul Technical University with my first master\'s in research on water treatment using advanced oxidation processes and chemical treatment under the financial support of the Research Council of Turkey (TUBITAK). My second master\'s degree is from UBC, and I worked on patented industrial research in partnership with the Natural Sciences and Engineering Council of Canada (NSERC)and Metro Vancouver, focusing on upgrading the anaerobic digestion process in municipal wastewater treatment plants. I have designed a novel bioreactor amended with biochar to improve methane generation by converting waste to energy. My field of interest is complex problem-solving, technical data analysis, treatment technology development, and energy recovery in environmental projects.
