I\'m an engineering leader who\'s spent two decades building and scaling systems that actually matter—platforms that generate revenue, power critical business operations, and handle real complexity at scale.Currently, I\'m Director of Engineering at Duetto, leading three organizations: Data Platform, Integrations, and AI Product Development. I own the full stack—strategy, architecture, execution, and outcomes for the systems that directly impact revenue and reliability. My teams build the backbone of our revenue intelligence platform: ingesting and processing hospitality data at scale, integrating with hundreds of PMS and data sources, and powering the AI-driven features that differentiate our product.I operate in the space between executive strategy and technical reality. I can sit in a boardroom and translate business objectives into technical roadmaps, then turn around and make the right architectural call when the system design matters. I partner closely with Product, Data Science, and GTM leadership, but I stay close enough to the systems—still coding and reviewing architecture in Java, Python, C++ and modern cloud-native stacks—to know when we\'re making the right tradeoffs and where the real constraints are.My background spans Hospitality and Telecom BSS—domains where downtime isn\'t an option and complexity is the baseline. At CSG, I architected BSS solutions for MTN South Africa, built billing systems for Inmarsat\'s GX satellite network, and delivered OTT platforms on Ascendon serving brands like Formula One and Disney. I\'ve worked on CSG Singleview, interconnect systems, and large-scale billing platforms serving millions of subscribers, always focused on high availability, security, and global scale. I\'ve led cloud-native transformations, built event-driven architectures, and designed data integration platforms that actually work under pressure.Lately, I\'ve been deep in AI—not the buzzword kind, but the practical application: LLM architectures, RAG implementations, vector databases, and analytics systems that turn data into product value. I recently presented research at AIxSET on configurable trait-based frameworks for enhancing LLM output, exploring how we can make AI systems more reliable and production-ready. I\'m interested in how we turn intelligence into features customers will pay for, not just chasing trends.I care deeply about engineering excellence and operational discipline, but I also care about the people doing the work.
