About Shiv Bhanap
I am an investment professional passionate about helping organizations make effective and profitable investment decisions. I have demonstrated this passion by working with two large investment banks - Citigroup and BNP Paribas. To build on this, I am currently pursuing an MS Finance degree at the University of Texas at Dallas. In my most recent stint at Citigroup, I served as a credit analyst and helped the bank make lending decisions by effectively managing its credit risk across its corporate banking portfolio. Through this experience I have acquired various transferable technical skills which are applicable across asset classes. Throughout this journey, I worked with a diverse group of multicultural individuals from different geographies and this helped me hone my interpersonal skills. Apart from work and academics, I am a passionate musician and have been playing the guitar and the bass guitar since 2010. This experience has taught me how to build dedication and consistent effort towards a directed goal. Playing with bands has taught me how to be agile in rapidly evolving situations and effectively collaborating with professionals from multidisciplinary backgrounds.
