I am an AI Engineer at SGS & Co, specializing in developing and deploying AI solutions using Vision Language Models (VLMs) and Large Language Models (LLMs) on cloud platforms such as Azure and GCP. My expertise includes fine-tuning open-source VLMs for tasks like object detection, image tagging, phrase grounding, and caption generation on custom datasets curated for the required business solutions. Additionally, I have experience in training custom models for information extraction from documents using SFT of VLMs.I hold an MS by Research from Hyderabad, where my work focused on IT in Building Science. My research specialized in smart energy systems, data-driven research, cyber-physical systems, energy arbitrage, and circular economy. During my graduate studies, I contributed to several research projects on smart home energy management, residential load profile analysis, and multi-agent systems, funded by national and international agencies such as DST (Government of India) and EPSRC (UK). My research has been published in prestigious international conferences, including ACM BuildSys and Energy Informatics.
