About Shishank Gupta
In my career spanning close to three decades, I\'ve consistently sought challenges and new experiences that foster both professional growth and personal fulfillment. The journey has been exhilarating and humbling in equal measures. I had the opportunity to set up a new service line and see it scale from a startup-like operation to become the large business unit with members drawing multi-billion-dollar revenues. I was also fortunate to have had the chance to steer the company’s largest-ever mandate to drive cloud-powered innovation and IT infrastructure transformation for a global automotive client, which involved developing a next-gen workplace along with a \"best-of-breed\" partner ecosystem. Over the years, my work also earned me two patents - in ‘Size and Effort Estimation in Testing Projects’ and ‘Individual Productivity Measurement’. In my current role, as the Head of the Digital Workplace Ecosystem and Microsoft Practice, I am responsible for leveraging new technologies in AI and Business Applications to solve challenges and drive workplace transformation for our customers. This role involves new service conceptualization, defining go-to-market strategies and empowering delivery teams to maximize client value. My team and I practice the philosophy of ‘Think Big, Act Big’ to innovate in technological development and differentiate in driving business growth. I actively participate in shaping the future of our workplace and industry through multiple corporate initiatives. The experience of working with multiple stakeholders in complex, high-stakes environments has been enriching and reinforced my belief in the importance of staying relevant in dynamic setups. My efforts have been recognized in the form of multiple awards for excellence in the areas of Unit Excellence, People Management, Systems and Process, and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion for my team and me. I believe in continuous upskilling, a philosophy that is strongly supported in Infosys. I have an MBA from IIMB with double accolades, featuring in the Director Merit List in 2016 and winning a gold medal in 2017, all while continuing my responsibilities at work. I am an alumnus of the Executive Leadership Program at Stanford Business School and Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering.On the personal front, my passion for music and theatre serves as a grounding force, enhancing my creativity and resilience. I look forward to contributing more to businesses through innovation and community involvement, creating an impactful presence in the digital age.
