   Serve as the Medical lead when Novartis engages with Population Health Decision Makers (PHDM) at payers and systems of cares (SOC) to achieve optimal patient access and advance population health, through compliant and synergistic partnerships • Develop and maintain deep understanding of the unique medical needs of customers in SOCs, payer accounts and other influencers of healthcare in the region with the goal of advancing population health, patient access and customer experience • Serve as primary medical lead for large customers in local region to co-create, prioritize, plan and implement mutually beneficial population health solutions to enhance patient outcomes and experience and lower overall healthcare costs • Be the subject matter expert in clinical disease management in prioritized therapeutic areas, customer markets with reimbursement scenarios and the overall healthcare landscape in assigned region • Educate PHDMs and influencers on the clinical and economic value proposition for new therapies developed and commercialized by Novartis • Support product pre-launch, launch and post-launch activities and communication plans per PHAM strategy and tactical plans • Upon unsolicited request for information, present data on Novartis products to HCPs and formulary decision makers or committees. Collaborate with Market Access Account Management, Medical Access, Medical Units and HEOR colleagues as needed • Establish and maintain professional relationships with PHDMs who are involved in formulary decisions, treatment protocol development, quality measures, or population health management in prioritized regional payer and SOC accounts • Capture, report and interpret customer insights to inform PHAM strategy • Collaborate with the Medical Science Liaisons and other field partners as appropriate to meet the mutual scientific, clinical, therapeutic area and product informational needs of the health care decision makers in the ever changing health care landscape
