Kinda proud of these moments- My first job out of college I was the project manager of Yankee Stadium for the City of New York - I was part of the first dotcom boom and was Controller of Heavy.com at age 25 - I was in charge of Yale University\'s audited financial statements and annual report and I wasn\'t a CPA and never took an accounting class - Yale created a position for me as Director of Finance Training and Development to train their elite analysts - When Yale\'s top finance leaders across the university couldn\'t agree on defining new processes for the Workday ERP implementation, they gave me that responsibility. And I got everyone to agree- I rolled with Royler Gracie back in 2001 - I interviewed John Cho in the Sterling Memorial Library - I fulfilled my 15 year dream of holding a World Tai Chi Day event at Yale University - I\'ve introduced Tai Chi to a whole new generation and we coined the term Stressbending - I\'m building an army of Stressbenders and we are going to make the world a better place - My brand has reached all 7 continents, including Antarctica - New York Times recommended my YouTube channel to learn Tai Chi - My obscure content somehow have gotten millions of views on TikTok and IG - Alistair Overeem follows me on IG (I hyperventilate every time I think about it) More about me: aipingtaichi.com/shirleychock YouTube | Instagram | Facebook | TikTok:@aipingtaichi

   How do you take over an established business named after its founder, one of the most iconic people in your field, and make it your own while honoring and preserving its legacy? This is what I\'ve been doing since I took over Aiping Tai Chi in 2017. I have preserved its core mission of teaching authentic Tai Chi and Qigong with the depth required to continue our master\'s lineage. I have also slowly evolved the Aiping Tai Chi brand from Grandmaster Aiping Cheng\'s personal brand to a global business brand that can scale in our ever expanding digital world.I\'ve trained under Grandmaster Aiping Cheng as her disciple at the Aiping Tai Chi Center since 2001. She passed her school on to me in 2017 to continue her legacy. Today, Aiping Tai Chi is emerging as a global authentic living brand that shows people how to transform their lives from a constant uphill battle to effortless and sustainable success. I am quietly building an army of stressbenders.
