Pioneered and implemented infrastructure for low-code development, to empower Redfin agents to create applications and reduce engineering costs. Served as subject matter expert in low-code development and partnered with Principal Engineer to establish milestones and business goals- Lead engineer for Walk Score service and distributed system (Python, Go, Ruby, Chef, Ubuntu, AWS, Node). Close collaboration with project managers to maximize revenue and satisfaction from customers, bringing in $1M annual revenue for a team of only one full-time engineer. In the past 6 months, singlehandedly integrated Walk Score’s legacy technology into Redfin systems and standards- Consolidated distributed system workflow for MLS listings and photos via binpacking, relying on a self-developed weighted algorithm. The optimization of executor slots achieved $400K in annual savings for the company.
