I focus on staff development, editorial training, and talent recruitment for NPR\'s Content Division. I come to this work as a long-time editorial leader, serving most recently as NPR\'s Chief Washington Editor and Executive Producer of the NPR Politics Podcast. Before joining NPR, I worked for years at CNN, where I did everything from field producing to producing a daily political show, from supervising the Washington bureau on the weekends to running CNN\'s national security team. I have a master\'s degree in public policy from Georgetown University and bachelor\'s degrees in journalism and international relations from Boston University.
