Shirley Duquene joined Ropes & Gray’s litigation and enforcement practice group as an attorney in 2021, where she focuses on government enforcement, internal investigations, compliance risk assessments, and post-acquisition compliance integration and monitoring. Shirley has experience advising clients on anti-corruption (including the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA)), international risk, ESG, and other compliance issues. She has assisted clients in investigations and inquiries by the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the U.K. Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and state enforcement agencies. Shirley has worked with a diverse set of companies across the private equity, asset management, manufacturing, health care, education, sports, and hospitality industries.Shirley is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US).
