Shirin has nearly 20 years of experience and expertise in various aspects of the energy industry. He is a performance-driven leader with demonstrated ability to design and deliver strategies that align business operations with digital technologies to clients that transact in the global energy markets. Shirin has a breadth of experience in program & project management, business and technical requirements gathering, Dodd-Frank Title VII compliance for Swap Dealers, Commodity Trading and Risk Management (CTRM) systems selection and implementation, process reviews & improvements across the energy transaction life cycle, and internal controls related to the energy transaction life cycle (front, middle and back office functions), as well as risk management principles and applications. At Deloitte, some of Shirin’s experience included assisting companies with their CTRM transformation, system selection, design & implementation and integration of several commercial commodity trade risk management software (CTRM) applications: Allegro, Triple Point CXL, and OpenLink Endur. He was a core team member with Deloitte’s Blockchain Center of Excellence and in this role Shirin helped develop and support Blockchain go-to market strategy, thoughtware, developed use cases and POC’s for Commodity Trading and Marketing companies. He is also a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). He is currently pursuing his Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP).
