An altruistic entrepreneur and passionate mechanical design engineer, I specialize in leading product development projects from concept design, prototype building and testing, all the way to manufacturing and launch. In the 3 years of my Product Development career I have established a packaged drinking water plant and led a team of 4 engineers developing two multi-million dollar patented technologies from concept to completion with an Environmental Engineering Company serving SIEMENS, GE, and Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems in the Energy Industry.An ideal opportunity for me at this stage in my career would be initiating and executing capital projects or leading new product development projects. My strongest skills are my design thinking and a resilient drive for success, which are transferrable across all industries.I have a Master’s degree in Engineering Management from Duke University focusing on New Product Development, and a Bachelor of Technology degree in Mechanical Engineering. On any typical work-day I engage in computer aided design (CAD) using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and ANSYS, and when I am not designing products I am optimizing work-flow by re-designing standard work practices and typical processes. I love Excel and am often found building analytical tools and macros with VBA programming.I am an active proponent of IDEO\'s \'Human Centered Design\' process and Janine Benyus\'\'Biomimicry\' design process.
