Leading on implementing Part 4 of the Domestic Abuse Bill, which places new duties on local authorities to provide domestic abuse support in safe accommodation for all victims. Duties include- Engaging and consulting with partners to support the undertaking of a needs assessment to inform, build and develop our strategic direction on domestic abuse- Reviewing the current Birmingham Domestic Abuse Prevention Strategy (20••••23)- Collaboratively working with a range of partners both internally and externally to support and drive the Domestic Abuse Local Strategic Partnership Board forward- Support to develop a whole-system review of key pathways for victims of domestic abuse such as homelessness/housing and criminal justice.
