I wanted to build software that solved problems in people’s lives. The main issue was convincing companies that I could do the job. The interview feedback that I got told me that I lacked product experience. If the requirement for getting the job was to have done the job, then that’s where I headed. I started a product consultancy with my friends. Luckily, I was referred to a real estate development company through my network with a need to transform their work flow at the office and the job sites. Over the course of a year, I incrementally launched a cloud based web application that enabled office base and field workers’ productivity by 100%.In my 2 recent product roles, I worked for 2 major banks. At Wells Fargo, I worked on the innovation side where I scouted, onboarded, and vetted vendor technology to fit the needs of different Line of Businesses. I covered areas in A.I. Chatbots, Biometric Authentication, Fraud Detection, Identity Services, and Mobile Growth Marketing, several components which contributed towards the strategy and execution of the Greenhouse mobile app.At JPMorgan Chase, I worked in digital retail banking. I’ve launched net-new products from prototype to the path of national scale. Working alongside a collaborative team, I’ve led and facilitated teams in reimagining and migrating features from a multi-million dollar legacy system. My scrum team has won recognition for best-in-class agility practices.
