About Shinjan Garain

First-year IPM student at IIM Indore with an interest in building and analyzing systems using data, software, and automation tools. I enjoy working with programming, APIs, and analytical methods to understand problems and design practical solutions.My technical work includes statistical analysis and data manipulation in R, building web applications using JavaScript and Next.js, and integrating external services through REST APIs and webhooks. I also experiment with workflow automation tools such as n8n, and explore applications of large language models (LLMs) and retrieval-based systems in real-world workflows.I am particularly interested in areas where data analysis, software engineering, and automation intersect, including analytics, SaaS products, and technology-enabled decision systems.

   Working closely with the founders at AfterBoards optimizing operations for a learner cohort by resolving student preparation queries and providing structured exam guidance through the platform’s academic forums.Analyzing preparation patterns and question trends to generate data-driven insights for IPMAT strategy, helping students optimize problem-solving approaches and exam planning.Designing marketing infographics and visual learning assets for top-of-funnel acquisition campaigns, and assisting with research-backed YouTube content development for the platform’s 24k+ subscriber channel.
