Organizes and facilitates scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives, release planning, product and sprint backlog refinement, and sprint demos.Facilitates sprint retrospective meetings to identify areas of improvement, maintain transparency, and build trust amongst the team.Participates as servant leader by removing impediments and conflicts for the team.Empowers the team through transparency, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.Ensures that the development team is protected from outside distractions, impediments, or team conflicts so that they are able to focus on items in the sprint backlog that help achieve the definition of done within the timeframe of a sprint.Coordinates with other scrum teams on a weekly basis to discuss updates, dependencies, and impediments that may interrupt the workflow.Coaches team to write more effective user stories using INVEST method and helps teams to better understand the estimation of user stories using the Fibonacci Sequence.Continuously learns and implements new facilitation techniques to bring about engagement while coaching the team.Tracks product backlog, burndown metrics, and velocity.Works with the Product Owner to define acceptance criteria and product backlog creation/prioritization using Jira.Uses Jira to track team progress and manage releases.Collaborates with the team to co-create and refine team working agreement, definition of ready, and definition of done.
