WORK HISTORY
Chief Financial Officer @Island Health Care
Edgartown, MA, US
Chief Financial Officer for the Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) for Dukes County, MA. I lead financial operations, fundraising and expansion initiatives for a $7M Federally Qualified Health Center that provides the people of Martha’s Vineyard with access to equitable, high-quality, affordable health care; resources and support for social and economic needs; and public health leadership. In addition to overseeing the Health Center’s financial operations to ensure fiscal sustainability, I cultivate and manage strategic partnerships within the community. Lead cross-functional collaboration with clinical teams, board members, and academic insitutions including Boston University School of Dental Medicine. I also designed and launched a $6M capital campaign (securing $4M to date), to expand clinic space from 769 sq. ft. to sq. ft, enabling the addition of primary care facilities and new dental services (especially for children) for the community, especially for children.
