ABOUT SHILPA K.

Shilpa has built and scaled new products across digital health, fintech, and enterprise SaaS. She specializes in taking ideas from concept to commercialization through strategic partnerships, product strategy, go-to-market, and general management.She is currently a Director at Cedar, a $3B healthtech company transforming the patient financial experience. At Cedar, Shilpa has taken new product lines from 0 to 1, including Cedar Support, an AI-powered patient billing support solution, and Cedar Cover, a proactive coverage safety net for uninsured patients.Previously, Shilpa held leadership roles at Function Health, Productboard, and Intuit, where she led business operations, partnerships, product strategy, and go-to-market for new products and new verticals. She began her career in strategy consulting at KPMG, advising healthcare institutions and private equity firms on M&A and growth strategy.Beyond her operating roles, Shilpa is an active angel investor in early stage companies across digital health, fintech, AI, and consumer products. She is a founding board member of Wharton Alumnae Founders & Funders Association, scaling it into Wharton’s fastest-growing startup and VC community with over 5,500 members. Shilpa is also a founding member of Modern Angels, and a mentor for First Round Capital’s Fast Track program.Passionate about expanding access to education, Shilpa has served on the boards of Alliance College-Ready Public Schools, Philadelphia Youth Basketball, Dream Wakers, and Akshaya Patra.Shilpa holds an MBA from The Wharton School at University of Pennsylvania and a B.S. in Finance and Accountancy from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
