About Shilpa Bothra
I am passionate about driving technology transformation through products that positively impact lives. Technological advances empower people and organizations to be productive, realize, and deliver more than they could before. I get energized by working at the juncture of technology and business. I started my career as a Software Engineer at Intel and worked on all stages of product development lifecycle - from design, development, testing, release management, to maintenance. I then transitioned into Program Management to become adept in stakeholder and supplier management, quality assurance, developing multi-year project plans, process improvements, and Agile software development methodology. Through the MBA, I supplemented my technical skills with business knowledge to understand how organizations operate and leverage market forces to build impactful products.Currently at Microsoft, as a Sr. Product Marketing Manager, I lead the Microsoft Purview Data Security product marketing team, building marketing strategy and product narratives, helping translate customer needs into tangible products.
