I have also enjoyed working at heights on both scaffolding and off of powered man lift machines of all sorts. I have had the privilege of working in many different work environments, such as the Navy and Private Shipyards, as well as large and small construction sites. I am comfortable working in all climate types and weather conditions. I also worked in confined spaces within the fuel tanks and Wind Turbines. I have worked on most of my vehicles when they have broken down to both troubleshoot and repair them. I have a strong mechanical aptitude and always learning more about how things work. I took an interest in the Wind Industry when I found out about NW-REI and that there was training available to understand the inner-workings of how a Wind Turbine works and what is involved in working on them and keeping them running smoothly. I consider myself an adventurous person and love exploring and trying new things. This goes hand in hand with my love of travel and outdoor sports: including scuba diving (advanced certified), snow skiing, hunting, hiking & camping, piloting small airplanes, boating & fishing, etc. This started early on for me as a child climbing every tree I could find and exploring the swamp near my house. According to a web site Trip Adviser I have been to about 12% of this world and have a strong desire to see much, much more.
