ABOUT SHIKSHA SINGH
I have cultivated a unique perspective through my multicultural upbringing. Born and completing my early education in India, I later moved to the UAE for middle school, where I studied alongside individuals from over 50 different nationalities. Now in Canada, I have completed the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma and am currently pursuing my undergraduate studies in Psychology at the University of British Columbia.I aspire to specialize in neuroscience, expanding my knowledge of the mechanisms that shape behaviour and exploring how the brain, nervous system, and psychological factors intersect to influence cognition and social interactions.Beyond academics, I am passionate about social and community service and have actively volunteered with the New Westminster, BC youth program (100+ volunteer hours). I am also an avid reader and enjoy hiking, skiing, photography, scuba diving, and art.
