About Shikhar Gupta
Currently, I am working as an Analog-Mixed Signal Circuit Design Engineer at Synopsys Bangalore. Previously, I worked as a Research Associate in ECE Department, IIT Roorkee since December 2019. Here, I am responsible for the development of Floating Body PDSOI based Standard Cells. I have done my Doctorate degree from NIT Kurukshetra (Jan 2016- March 2021), where my area of research was spacer engineered based advanced underlap MOSFETs. During my Ph.D. program, I have authored four non-paid SCI/SCIE indexed international journals and attended one conference. I also co-authored 2 non-paid SCIE indexed international journals and one UGC care listed National journal. Prior to my Ph.D, I have done my M.Tech in VLSI Design from YMCA University of Science and Technology, Faridabad (20••••15), where I worked on Design and Analysis of Fully Depleted Dual Material Gate SOI-MOSFET. I have rich experience in the Sentaurus TCAD Tool including ac analysis, mixed-mode simulations, and RF analysis. I have carried out research in the spacer based underlap advanced MOSFETs and determined the effect of various spacer dielectric in the underlap region on the analog/RF performance of the device. I\'m looking forward to work in the semiconductor industry. Gained practical knowledge of Digital Circuit Designs, Physical/Digital VLSI Design, Microelectronics, and VHDL/VERILOG Programming through various project works-> Worked on Sentaurus TCAD to simulate the various underlap advanced MOSFETs and analyzed its performance on various parameter variations-> Worked on Silvaco TCAD to simulate SOI-MOSFET and study the performance of the device on parameter variation-> Good understanding of CMOS and logic design-> Hardware Description Language: Verilog HDL, VHDL -> Packages: Xilinx Tool, Silvaco TCAD, Sentaurus TCAD, Tanner
