Hi, I am Shikha Sehgal, a marketing professional having a diverse experience of 13 years in the field of Marketing. I would describe myself as a passionate marketer, a digital marketing expert and someone who has great insights into consumer behavior.My career started right after my Masters in Textiles and Clothing from Delhi University in 2006 with an export/design house Orient Fashions.I moved to Marketing and Brand development with Vardhman Textiles Ltd. My role spanned into Marketing Communications, Product Management, Brand development, Channel Marketing, Customer, Market insights and Vendor Management. I was instrumental in launching and establishing one of the most successful ultra-premium product (threading thread) the company has today \'Organica\'. At MakeMyTrip, a NASDAQ listed and a certified “Great Place To Work\' organization I gained experience in digital marketing. This vibrant organization gave me a super learning experience with developing online products (travel packages), insights into customer buying behavior online, effectively using content and various tools to promote products. I also developed a passion for online marketing and content hence I helped my friends design & optimize their websites and provided SEO optimized content to promote their product. This gave me further exposure into digital marketing, consumer behavior and content strategies. Later, I joined Samvardhana Motherson International Limited (Motherson Sumi - Auto ancillary) and looked into internal communications (Group Intranet across 33 countries), employee reach and engagement. The role also gave me exposure into Corporate Communications. The Innovation boosting application that I was managing collected ‘Out of the Box’ business related ideas from employees and as a Project lead I was able to implement more than 400 innovative ideas for improving organizational efficiency and achieving business excellence.
