ABOUT SHIELLA DOWLATSHAHI RADEL

I leverage two decades of start-up experience in pharma/biotech companies, knowledge of healthcare systems, and academic institutions to help clients succeed. CAREER HIGHLIGHTS Directly contributed to the success of five start-ups with multiple drug launches with significant revenue generation shortly after launch, reaching and surpassing $100 million in sales during launch. Developed and executed commercial and medical strategies for complex therapies, including acute care and rare disease products in neurology, surgical oncology, cardiology, metabolic disease, immunology, and chronic and acute pain. On the Medical side of the business, collaborated to develop patient safety initiatives, worked to build tactics, and executed peer education programs to change the status quo in the management of perioperative patients. Inspired update of guidelines to improve patient safety and quality outcomes. Led multiple teams on the commercial side of the business, covering twenty states with six managers and 65 representatives. Managed all aspects of performance, incentive plans, and sales goals. Managed all P&L as regional director. Supervised market access activities within the region and led the country in the number of contracts signed to retain the region’s multi-million-dollar franchise. Authored a patient advocacy book, awarded “Best Publication in the Patient Advocacy Field.” Delivered multiple presentations at ad boards, conferences, and medical and patient advocacy organizations. Contributed to the publication of multiple scientific papers and articles. Received multiple honors and awards, including four consecutive President’s Club awards and two consecutive Team Player awards. Recognized as a strong contributor to patient advocacy, peer education, disease state awareness, and legislative initiatives for step therapy law modification by New England Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation. Served as a patient advocacy organization board member for the past ten years. Graduated with honors from Tufts School of Medicine and Public Health with a Master\'s in Pain Research, Education, and Policy.INTERESTS OUTSIDE WORK I enjoy traveling, writing, ethnic food, skiing, and golf. I am a first-generation American with roots in the Middle East. I speak fluent Persian.
