I am currently working as an Architect (Consulting Member of Technical Staff) for OCI, Oracle.My current role (in OCI now and HPE earlier) is of an ENABLER where I am responsible for helping my team with=> creating design and architecture for requirements with fair amount of ambiguity => resolving ambiguity and create execution plan and help team executing the plan to deliver on time with quality=> adopting new tools and technologies by carrying out new POCs and helping team to enhance the knowledge to meet the next set of requirements.=> reviewing the design, code etcSome of the projects I have worked with involved design and development of near real time ETL solution and batch ETL solution for large amount of data for predictive analysis. The tools and technology stack includes scala, akka, lagom, spark, kafka, DCOS, GraphQL, Rest API etc. Prior to this I have worked as a Technical Leader for Cisco Systems India Pvt. Ltd. I have total 14+ years of software development related experience for both cloud based and on prime based application development. During this time, I have been working in almost all technical aspect of software development including software design, code, unit test, functional test, performance test, test UI and API automation, test tool developments, test management as a QA lead, different reviews including code, design and strategy reviews, engineering level customer support, bug fixing etc. I am also a Certified Scrum Master by “Good Agile” and had worked as a scrum master for a short period of time.Experience History:* with HPE as expert data engineer/architect (current, from mid 2018)• With Cisco Systems as Tech lead(from Sep 2006 to 2018)o worked for a Cloud based application as a software developer using Scala language.o Before that worked as a software engineer for an on-prime application/solution as a software developer using Java Language.Skill Set:• Programming Language: Scala (primary dev language), Java• Tool kit: Akka, Spray, Lagom• Scripting Language: Groovy, Python• Performance Test Tools: Gatling• Cloud tools/technology: Redis, Spark and Kafka• Other tools: Maven, Git, GitHub, Jenkins• Software Development Model: Agile-Scrum•.
