ABOUT SHIBANI GOGOI

Hello, my name is Shibani Gogoi, and I am currently working as an Academic Associate in the field of Strategy at the prestigious Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, where I apply my expertise towards conducting research in the area of corporate strategy.With a strong foundation in academics, I have a diverse range of qualifications. I hold a Bachelor of Science from Dibrugarh University,where I studied the sciences, positioning me with excellent analytical and technical skills. Furthermore, I have completed my Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications and my MBA from ARGUCOM with a specialization in Finance and Human Resource, demonstrating my drive and passion for the field.I am a recipient of the Anandaram Barooh Award for good performance in HSLC in 2013 and was the former Girls Common Room Secretary of Namrup College, where I enjoyed serving the student community. Additionally, I have been awarded a Meritorious Scholarship from the O.N.G.C Foundation for 2019-21, which signifies my academic excellence and commitment to education.I have gained practical experience in the industry through various internships, including working capital management at ONGC Assam Asset and an online internship in HR disclosures policies and KMAC. I also have experience in the financing, positioning and branding of BIOCBG gas in India, which was a grand project that aimed to introduce renewable energy sources in the Indian economy.My passion for teaching and research has led me to pursue a career in academia, where I aspire to leverage my skills and knowledge towards the betterment of society. Through continuous learning and dedicated research, I aim to become an academic with a strong social conscience, committed to excellence and innovation.I believe that a teaching and research role would provide me with the opportunity to pursue my passion, and I would relish the opportunity to join a collegiate and dynamic academic community.
