As a Director of Engineering at Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) team, I lead a software engineering team that is building and operating an Internet scale Public and a Private DNS service. Across Oracle and Microsoft, I have 20+ years of experience in designing and managing many such large-scale, globally distributed services - both cloud native and on-prem. I have over 14 years of people management experience of which, I have also managed managers for over 5 years.I have been an entrepreneur and a product manager, with a passion for solving customer problems and creating innovative solutions. I co-founded a tech startup that provided a highly scalable technology platform for peer-to-peer deliveries, drove the GTM efforts, and operationalized the product.I have an MBA from Wharton Business School, with majors in Strategy and Entrepreneurship, and I have helped several businesses productize their ideas as a product management consultant.
