ABOUT SHERYL SCHILTZ

I have worked within the affordable housing development sector for 43 years, operating at senior management level for both private and public sector organisations. I have a wide range of skills centred on the pre and post -development process of new housing and care provision, across many geographical areas, for large affordable development organisations. For the last 15 years, I have been self employed providing detailed development support services to a range of clients. Within this role, I have established myself as a leading contact for supporting organisations with pre-development research data bringing forward new business opportunities, preparing grant applications including use of IMS, tender analysis and business development support.I have vast experience of acquiring land and property, the planning process and the negotiations surrounding acquisition, including S106 agreements, the design stage, from inception to completion, I have worked on 16 sites in the last year and a half, project managing from pre acquisition to post purchase completion, including the delivery of the scheme to handing over.I have experience of selling shared equity units \"off plan\", the development of a range of schemes between 6 units and 450 units for all tenure types. I was solely responsible for the aquisition of 248 street properties for a London Borough under a PFI contract with the LA and RP over a four year period.
