About Sheryl Colyer

Dr. Sheryl L. Colyer is the Global Head of Human Resources for Global Business Services and Transformation at Pfizer Inc, prior to this role she was the Global Head of Human Resources for the Chief Business Office, Corporate Affairs, Legal and Compliance at Pfizer. Prior to joining Pfizer, Sheryl worked at Citigroup where she worked in both business management and human resources functions across several different businesses. She served as managing director, global head of human resources, responsible for Emerging Markets, Asia-Pacific, Europe, and Latin America, chief administrative officer for Citi’s U.S. Asset Management business, and general manager of Citi’s College Savings-529 portfolio business as a registered representative, supervisory, and municipal securities limited principal working with state treasures. Additionally, Sheryl served as program director for the Citi, Smith Barney Foundation. Before joining Citigroup, Sheryl held various human resources, leadership and talent development positions at PepsiCo,General Motors and the Internal Revenue Service. Among her other professional activities, Sheryl served as an adjunct Assistant Professor of Clinical Management and Leadership, School of Medicine and Health Sciences at George Washington University and a Lecturer, Graduate School of Professional Studies, Columbia University. She earned her Bachelors of Science degree from Howard University, her Master’s degree from Columbia University, and her Doctorate from George Washington University.
