Led the creative direction and visual storytelling for “Save the Day, Lock it Away,” a bilingual (English/Spanish) graphic novel teaching kids about firearm safety.Designed all original characters, environments, and sequential art to create an engaging and age-appropriate narrative.Collaborated closely with the nonprofit’s leadership and public health advisors to ensure accuracy, clarity, and cultural relevance.Created a dual-format layout allowing readers to flip the book for Spanish or English versions, maximizing accessibility for diverse families.Oversaw all stages of production including layout, typography, and pre-press, ensuring print-readiness and consistency across deliverables.Successfully delivered a City of Austin–funded community education tool distributed at schools, libraries, and public events.
