I LOVE the sales process! My favorite part of selling is diving into a client\'s needs and learning what are the trigger points to earning his or her business. Being able to translate this into a successful event or partnership is my biggest thrill. I joined Chelsea Piers in 2001 as an Event Manager for one our venues. The facility I managed had a concentration of children\'s program mixed in with some corporate and social business. It was tough managing NYC parents while trying to run an event business but I learned how to plan and to communicate to diverse audiences. After a few year, I was promoted to our corporate sales department and eventually, the Vice President of Events. While in our corporate office, I honed my sales skills and leaned the intricacies of our venues. Over the years, we have hosted some memorable private events in the corporate, not-for-profit, and social channels. I now oversee Sponsorships in conjunction with Special Events. The synergy between the two departments allow me to explore creative ways to get corporations integrated with our brand, our customers, and thru the unique event experiences we provide.The most rewarding part of my job, is the amazing people I get to work with daily. Over the years, I have had the opportunity to hire and mentor many talented people who are doing great things professionally. They are really my inspiration and the reason I still find passion in this industry.On a more personal side, I love American history, basketball, and 90\'s Hip Hop.aka the TRUE golden era :)
