At EfficiencyOne, the focus for the African Nova Scotian Communities Retrofit Program has shifted from aspiration to delivery—designing and implementing a unique energy retrofit program that makes sustainability tangible for African Nova Scotian communities. As Program Manager for the African Nova Scotian Communities Retrofit Program, I lead the development and implementation of an initiative supporting select African Nova Scotian communities, aimed at improving access to energy efficiency services, reducing household energy costs, and supporting healthier housing conditions. The program has progressed from concept to execution, with an emphasis on culturally responsive delivery, strong partnerships, and measurable household-level outcomes.My role brings together program design, stakeholder collaboration, and delivery oversight to ensure the program is effective, accountable, and aligned with both community priorities and provincial climate objectives. The relationship-driven approach shaping this work is informed by my community ties and previous experience as a Key Account Manager at Mark\'s Commercial, where I led strategic accounts, built partnerships, and delivered results through collaboration and operational discipline. These foundations continue to support my work—turning strategy into action and ensuring the program delivers real value for the communities it is intended to serve.
