About Sherry Altman
Sherry Marin Altman is an experienced professional in the areas of business strategy, innovation, and environmental sustainability. She is an MBA with over 20 years experience in management consulting and engineering consulting.As an Executive with Booz Allen Hamilton, Sherry worked with for-profit, non-profit, and government organizations, advising senior leadership on some of their most critical and strategic issues. She also led the firm’s Innovation Services practice. On the energy and environment front, Sherry has led alternative energy investment strategies for multiple clients, covering wind, solar PV and solar thermal, as well as energy efficiency/recovery. She has also worked as an Energy and Environmental consultant and a Transportation Planner. Sherry also serves on multiple Boards and committees, supporting socially-responsible business ventures and cancer care and research. As a member of the Advisory Committee of Bethesda Green’s Business Innovation Lab and as a mentor with the Mentor Capital Network, Sherry reviews business plans and advises early-stage social and eco-entrepreneurs on their multi-bottom-line companies. She is also on the Boards of the Duke Cancer Institute, Second Chance Toys and the Friends of Maiden Lane Park.
