Family Therapist for FTBS Program (Family Together Building Solutions) helps families create solutions to prevent out-of-home placement for the children. I meet with families in their home for at least three hours a week at times most convenient for them. Together, we work toward building solutions to keep their family together and healthy. We create SMART goals and action steps together and the family is responsible for working towards their goals daily.Parenting Education Program: Parenting Education is an evidence-based program consisting of two components: a computer-based curriculum and in-home counseling. The curriculum provides parenting education for parents of children or teens, ages three-17. It helps to educate parents with the goal of improving parent-child relationships. The program is proven to help reduce family conflict and child behavior problems. I met with families weekly for one to two hours and work on SMART goals and educational resources.
