I lead at the intersection of education, workforce development, and economic mobility—designing strategies that translate learning into meaningful career outcomes.My leadership is grounded in the belief that equity is not just about access, but about outcomes and long-term stability. I focus on building systems and partnerships that remove structural barriers, align education with labor market demand, and support people in navigating complex pathways toward financial security. I bring both academic rigor and practical execution to this work, informed by a PhD in Higher Education and more than two decades of experience in nonprofit leadership, program design, and talent development.I’m drawn to work that requires clarity in moments of complexity—helping organizations strengthen strategy, refine engagement models, and translate values into action. My experience includes leading large-scale programs, developing leadership pipelines, and facilitating conversations that support organizational growth and change.Currently, I serve as CEO of New Futures, a Washington, DC–based nonprofit expanding access to high-growth careers for systemically excluded young people through associate degrees and professional certifications. In this role, I lead strategy, partnerships, and organizational development, working closely with boards and cross-sector partners to drive real economic mobility.I’m also an aspiring writer and publish Unfinished Thoughts, a Substack where I channel my many thoughts (and occasional overthinking) into reflections on leadership, equity, and the questions we’re still working through. Writing helps me slow down, make meaning, and stay honest about the work of leading in complex times.I’m always interested in thoughtful conversations with people who care about building systems that work better—for individuals, communities, and institutions alike.

My role encompasses strategic vision, operational leadership, and community impact, ensuring that our programs leverage community college degrees and certifications to propel young people into high-growth professions.Key responsibilities include developing and executing strategic initiatives that align with our mission, cultivating partnerships that expand our reach, and leading a dedicated team to deliver transformative outcomes. I engage with our board of directors, donors, and key stakeholders to secure resources and support, while fostering a culture of innovation, equity, and collaboration. My leadership ensures that New Futures remains at the forefront of driving equitable access to education and career success across Washington, DC.
