Senior Finance Analyst• Responsible for analyzing project profitability, identifying key performance drivers, and communicating findings on project costs, product/service lines, and customer profitability.• Provides detailed gross margin variance analysis, comparing actual results to forecast and/or budget. Collaborates with Operations Team to develop 12-month rolling Budgets/forecasts. • Reviews financial information and possesses a strong understanding of accruals and accounting knowledge. • Monitors the progress of projects, investigates variances, approves expenses, ensures proper account allocation, and ensures that project billings are issued to clients and payments are collected. Develops reports that provide high level of transparency to its stakeholders. • Prepares Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) at project level. Reviews weekly and monthly Accounts receivable aging report and unbilled revenue report. • Maintains project-related records, including contracts and change orders. Reviews and approves overhead charges to be applied to a project. • Works with Operations Team to prepare business cases and/or rate sheets for upcoming opportunities. • Prepares journal entries and adjustments; non-bill reports, and weekly cash flow reports. Billing Manager• Ensured all pay rates and charge out rates were accurate and up to date. Created and monitored third party field tickets.• Maintained accurate billing documentation to ensure clients were charged correctly. Communicated with clients regarding billing issues and requirements.• Assisted with following up on overdue invoices as per month end reports. Maintained an accurate and up to date job detail listing of each department. Assisted in the Purchase Order process, including ordering and monitoring POs.• Ensured weekly completion of Accounts Payable including ensuring invoices matched to POs, verified that invoice coding was accurate, entered all invoices in the AP log.
