ABOUT SHERMAN QUAN
I am a health/clinical informatics professional (MSc and CPHIMS-CA) who has spent my career delivering technology solutions in the Canadian Healthcare Sector. My expertise has been delivering solutions in the complex academic teaching hospital environment but I am also experienced in the clinic/outpatient and public health settings. I have a strong research background and have evaluated numerous technology solutions, though I\'ve had a particular interest in addressing problems with communication and care coordination. Developing solutions for busy frontline providers and patients in hospitals meant taking a user centered design approach to ensure the technology we deployed was user friendly and intuitive. Fueled by my curiosity, I am constantly exploring through innovation and experimentation how new and emerging technologies can impact patient care.
