A high-growth start-up, Series E, Seattle-based unicorn, venture backed by Blackrock Private Equity Partners, Madrona Venture Group, Highland Capital Partners, and Kleiner Perkins Initially recruited to prepare the company for an IPO. As VP of Finance, I lead the global finance and accounting team with approximately 16 people. At Qumulo, I am responsible for;(1) leading the strategic planning and budgeting process;(2) managing the strategic analysis and presentations for all internal, external and board reporting;(3) partnering with the executive team to drive improved profitability and financial leverage across the organization,(4) providing financial leadership through the company\'s transition to a software-only business model, which yielded a double digit increase in gross margins,(5) owning all finance matters related to launching a SaaS offering,(6) defining and measuring new KPIs for the transformed business model;(6) executing a credit facility with a new lender to drive additional liquidity,(7) leading the finance team as we explored a new round of equity financing,(8) partnering with new leadership as we rebuilt the GTM engine;(9) owning the entire accounting and internal control function
